  • 1.5 lbs green grapes Choose firm, fresh grapes for the best texture and flavor.
  • 1/2 unit lemon Fresh lemon juice adds a bright zing that helps the Jell-O stick to the grapes.

Jell-O Flavorings

  • 1 package cherry Jell-O (3 oz.) Adds a sweet and fruity flavor.
  • 1 package orange Jell-O (3 oz.) Offers a citrus twist.
  • 1 package lemon Jell-O (3 oz.) Brings a classic tartness.
  • 1 package lime Jell-O (3 oz.) Adds a refreshing touch.

Other Ingredients

  • 2 tsp citric acid (divided into 1/2 tsp.) Enhances the sour flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Empty each Jell-O packet into its own gallon-size resealable plastic bag. Add 1/2 tsp citric acid to each bag.
  • Remove grapes from the stems and rinse them in a colander, shaking it to ensure they are damp but not dripping wet.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the damp grapes and toss them gently to coat.
  • Place a handful of grapes in each bag of Jell-O mix, seal the bags, and shake to coat each grape evenly.

Serving

  • Remove the grapes from the bags and serve in a bowl or small cups.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within a couple of days for the best texture. Best served cold. Adjust sweetness and flavors to personal preference.
